Our stay at Balmara was absolutely mind-blowing! The comfortable, spacious house provided everything we needed for our family holiday. The well-equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze, and the comfy reclining sofa and chairs in the lounge were super relaxing. The bedrooms were spacious with plenty of storage, and we loved the lovely private back garden with its abundance of trees and birds. The sea views from upstairs were jaw-dropping, and the whole house was spotlessly clean. The location was perfect, close to family and a great little beach. The facilities available, especially for young families, were impressive, and the garden area was a fantastic bonus. It truly felt like a home away from home, with all the necessary kitchen amenities, including an air fryer, George Foreman grill, and coffee maker. The spacious rooms, lovely garden, and the fact that food and drink were provided made our stay even more special. Additionally, the flexibility of our host in allowing us to arrive early and leave later on our final day was greatly appreciated. We cannot recommend Balmara enough!

We had a fantastic stay at Balmara in Hopeman. The accommodation was spacious and well-equipped, with all the kitchen gadgets we could possibly need. The lounge was cozy with large comfortable sofas and recliner chairs. The strong WiFi and smart TV with Netflix were a bonus. The provided welcome basket with milk and juice was a nice touch. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the local beach and harbor.
Though we had a comfortable stay, the sheets were a bit scratchy and could have been of better quality. Some items from the dishwasher needed to be handwashed, and the bath flexed a little alarmingly.

The garden was so lovely, it made me want to become a gardener. The free WiFi was a great excuse to avoid socializing with my family. Towels provided, thank goodness, who wants to bring their own bath towel on holiday?
Oh, no, not another airport nearby! Just what I needed, more noisy planes interrupting my peaceful getaway.

Lounge has large comfortable sofas and recliner chairs. Great location, 5 minutes walk down to the local beach and small harbor. Ideal base for us to explore in all directions including nearby attractions.
The downstairs bathroom may be an issue for anyone who needs the loo overnight. An extra bathroom or a separate toilet would really improve this property.

The location of the hotel is great as it is close to family and a lovely beach. The house offers lots of facilities, especially for young families, and has a spacious garden area. Guests also appreciated the complimentary essentials provided in the kitchen and bathroom, as well as the warm and comfortable atmosphere in the house. The reclining seats in the sitting room and the Smart TV with Netflix were also highly praised.
One bathroom might be a bit inconvenient if sharing with 6 adults.
